Agilent SureSelect Cancer Tumor-Specific assays are focused cancer NGS panels—comprised of approximately 50 genes each—that enable lower-cost genomic profiling of solid tumors from lung, colon, pancreas, kidney, or bladder tissue. These tumor-specific assays are subsets of content from the Agilent SureSelect Cancer CGP assay. Each assay enables detection of key classes of somatic changes, including single nucleotide variants (SNVs), copy number variants (CNVs), insertions/deletions, (indels), and translocations (TLs).
Excellent coverage uniformity, as represented by Fold-80 values, is shown for SureSelect Cancer Tumor-Specific Assays. Lower Fold-80 values represent more even covereage across the target regions.
The performance of SureSelect Cancer Tumor-Specific assays can help you capture focused insights from tissue samples. In this data sheet learn how your lab can implement flexible NGS workflows, achieve deep target coverage, confidently detect somatic variants, and reliably identify de novo gene fusions.
Based on the high-quality Agilent SureSelect XT HS2 library preparation and target enrichment chemistry, SureSelect Cancer Tumor-Specific assays produce sequencing-ready libraries in a one-day workflow. Perform genomic profiling of solid tumors from the lung, colon, pancreas, kidney, or bladder tissue to assess:
For de novo gene fusion detection, the modular workflow allows the option to combine a SureSelect Cancer Tumor-Specific DNA assay with the SureSelect Cancer CGP RNA assay (80 genes) together in the same sequencing run.
