Rotating Lab Sessions include:
- Infinity III Features, General Maintenance and Injector Programming
- This lab will focus on the features of the Agilent Infinity III LC System and provide an introduction to its basic operation, best practices and maintenance. Participants will learn how to perform general maintenance tasks, which will be demonstrated directly in front of the LC system for better practical understanding. It also cover injector programming, explaining how to set up and manage sample injections effectively. In addition to a few supporting presentation slides. if possible , the lab will include a small hands-on component.
- Studying the Impact of pH on Retention Time and Peak Shape in LC and Fraction Collection
- Participants will understand how to use pH to manipulate interactions for Acidic and Basic compounds and influences retention time and peak shape and how it affects overall separation efficiency and resolution. They will also learn the basic principles of fraction collection during chromatographic runs and gain practical experience in handling the LC system
- How Column Chemistry Influences UHPLC Results or Impact of Column Chemistry on Separation Efficiency in Agilent 1290 UHPLC
- This lab focuses on how column chemistry influences separation efficiency, selectivity, and overall UHPLC performance. Participants will also learn how to select appropriate columns for method development and optimization using the Agilent 1290 Infinity III UHPLC System. Additionally, they will gain insight into how column choice affects peak shape, analysis time, and reproducibility in UHPLC applications.
