Maximize cone lifetime: Nickel-plated copper base sampler cones are twice as resistant to 10% aqua regia matrix, and they extend life with other high acid matrices, such as hydrochloric acid.
Less cleaning: Nickel-plated cones typically need one-step ultrasonication in ultrapure water, making cleaning three times faster. This improves productivity and minimizes potential for damage from overcleaning.
Greater productivity. Save time and cost by running samples more efficiently.
Ease worry. Tightly controlled boron content in all platinum used for cones and injectors ensures low boron background without the need to order special "boron-free" versions.

Real labs save time and money

Our user ran with 7% HCl and 9.8% H₂SO₄ samples, typically used for Si wafer production. Based on their feedback “lifetime is improved and the performance is good, especially as the Pt and Ni background was no higher than the (standard) copper base cone." Therefore the cone saves money.
