A Comprehensive Suite of Next Generation Metabolomics Tools, enabling insights in 3D.
Dan Cuthbertson, Director, Global Life Science Research Market at Agilent
Combining cellular analysis with mass spectrometry tools yield provide deeper mechanistic insights into drug discovery and metabolomics studies by unlocking data that mass spectrometry cannot provide alone. New developments from Agilent enable these synergies in 3D model systems providing even more powerful insights.
Investigating the Influence of PFAS on Cellular Metabolism in HeLa and HepG2 Cell Lines Using Seahorse Real-Time Cell Metabolic Analysis and Mass Spectrometry Techniques
David Beale, Senior Research Scientist , Adjunct Professor of RMIT University
This study investigates the metabolic and lipidomic disruptions in HeLa and HepG2 cell lines exposed to PFAS and regulatory concentrations used in drinking water and at higher concentrations typically used in toxicology studies. Using the Agilent Seahorse Real-Time Cell Metabolic Analyser coupled with Mass Spectrometry techniques, we observed significant alterations in cellular energy metabolism and biochemical pathways and differential response based on cell lines.
Join us on on Tuesday, June 24
from 3:30, at the Congress Hall.
