Take the guesswork out of GC operation and maintenance

The Agilent Smart GC systems give you three ways to interact with the instrument: the local touch screen user interface, the data system (through a connected computer), and the browser interface, which offers:

Remote connectivity—receive real-time status updates
Perform maintenance and diagnostic tests
Access in-depth help information
Make runs (including full sequences) from the instrument itself

All without the need of a connected data system.

Flow Path screen shows key parameters for major flow path components.

Instrument Actuals screen lets you configure key parameters for quick access.

Real-time Plot screen shows the current data from selected signals. To expand, press the green ^.

Status Detail contains information on alerts and run status.

Prep Run (bottom right, third from right) begins preparation.

Start/stop buttons let you control manual injections.

If you press Stop, the status will read Not Ready for a few minutes before it returns to green.

Troubleshooting lets you view recent troubleshooting reports. Selecting Start Troubleshooting (upper right) takes you to a more detailed troubleshooting screen.

The GC Troubleshooting screen takes you step by step through a logical approach to fixing your chromatography, based on your method and flow path.

Maintenance menu allows easy access to setting your Early Maintenance Feedback (EMF) counters. Here, the inlet is flagged as needing attention.

This screen is indicating that the liner age is past its warning date. Touching that row leads to more detailed information.

Here, the current liner age is past the 28-day service warning. You can either adjust the limits or replace the liner and reset the counter.

Inlet Maintenance lets you select which inlet maintenance operation you wish to perform.

Required Tools tells you which tools you need to complete the selected maintenance task.
