Size exclusion, leveled up

a chromatogram showing the performance of the Ultra Inert column compared to stainless steel

The AdvanceBio SEC portfolio was designed to minimize hydrophilic interactions between analytes and the stationary phase. Soon the portfolio is getting an Ultra Inert glow up so you won’t have to worry about metal interactions any longer.

With secondary interactions effectively designed-out, your method conditions become more flexible. You can focus on optimizing conditions relevant to your samples, instead of mitigating interactions with your SEC column, to develop a robust platform method.

Protein LC/MS

Ultra Inert upgrade improves peak shape and sample recovery for metal-sensitive analytes, and reduces column conditioning time to a fraction of the time needed for conventional stainless steel columns.

Reversed-phase LC/MS is a staple technique for molecular weight determination for intact proteins and their impurities, as well as for drug-to-antibody ratio analysis for antibody-drug conjugates.

Without silica, polymeric PLRP-S offers excellent peak shape under formic acid mobile phase conditions, while the 1000 Å pore size is well suited for efficient protein separations.  As seen for peptide analysis, an Ultra Inert upgrade improves peak shape and sample recovery for metal-sensitive analytes, while reducing column conditioning time to a fraction of the time needed for conventional stainless steel columns.
